Exquisite Audio EAM-300B

The famous 300B tube, invented by Western Electric, now currently produced by many manufacturers.  This tube is very well known in the audiophile world and produces the most beautiful mid-range sound ever. The highs and lows are amazing too! With efficient speakers (90+db), it can make the walls shake. How many watts, you ask? Well, 8 watts per channel (THD<2%).  Only 8 watts?  It is more than enough when mated with the right stuff! However, I must say this. If the EAM-300B is mated with inefficient speakers, the results will be lack of power.  Each monoblock weighs over 40 lbs. and power consumption is 100 watts.  The power supply design is certainly beefed up - 300BX trans, two chokes with Solen polypropylene capacitors.  Quick fact:  The transformers are only warm to the touch after 24 hrs. of continuous play (that's with the potted boxes)!! Certainly, most of us don't listen to music that long!?!

High quality parts inside and out:

Hammond Transformers
Solen Polypropylene CAPS for the power supply and bypassed
Black Gate CAPS
Jensen Copper foil in oil CAP for direct coupling
Caddock Resistors (metal, 1%)
Walnut frame
